14 triple helical tie backs |
 A retaining wall surrounding a swimming pool was sliding laterally
down the hill.
Due to the unique nature of the problem, helical anchors were chosen as the tie
back system to use.
Using hand-held tools, fourteen (14) triple helices were driven to depths of 8'
to 18' through a bracket specially designed to fit on the footing of the wall.
 This was another situation where a deadman or other type of tie
back system would not work.
